Vegas Golden Knights goaltender Malcolm Subban got in an official's face to argue a goal call during Sunday's NHL game against Calgary.
It happened in the final minute of the second period as Flames center Mikael Backlund stood in front of Subban and scored a power play goal by deflecting a slapshot from the point to give the Flames a 4-3 lead with 21.8 seconds left. Subban apparently felt he was interfered with, and when the second period was over, he decided to let the head referee know how he felt about it.
Subban was given an unsportsmanlike penalty, which was served by teammate Jonathan Marchessault at the start the third period.
Things did not get better for Subban in the third period, as he gave up two more goals as the Flames beat the Golden Knights 6-3.
