Philadelphia Phillies superstar Bryce Harper paid tribute to his team's mascot by wearing a Philly Phanatic headband during Thursday's game against the Los Angeles Dodgers.
In the bottom of the seventh, Harper came up to the plate with one out and runners on first and third with the Dodgers holding a 5-4 lead. Harper drove in the tying run with a single and was able to continue on to second base as Dodgers right fielder Cody Bellinger committed an error. As Harper ran to second, his batting helmet came off, revealing the headband featuring the giant eyes of the Philly Phanatic.
Harper would come around to score on a Ryan Hoskins single. Harper finished 2-for-3 with that double and 2 RBI as the Phillies beat the Dodgers 7-6.
