Fox Sports 1 commentator Colin Cowherd was interrupted during Thursday's live broadcast of “The Herd” by a large earthquake in California that measured 6.4 on the Richter scale.
The FS1 studio is based in Los Angeles. In a pure coincidence, Cowherd was commenting on the hype surrounding the Cleveland Browns heading into the 2019 NFL season when he stopped mid-sentence as he felt the vibrations.
Colin Cowherd was live on air talking crap about the Browns again and an earthquake hit. Coincidence? I think not.😏 pic.twitter.com/mhxUUZb3XZ— Cleveland Sports Comedy (@CLEsportscomedy) July 4, 2019
"That was about 10 seconds of an earthquake in Los Angeles...I thought somebody was grabbing my desk. I've never been in an earthquake. Certainly not on the air. We're gonna take a break. Just had a little earthquake. Not that little."
Crazy stuff. Hope everyone is OK out there.
