Toys "R" Us mascot Geoffrey the Giraffe threw the first pitch at Wednesday's Toronto Blue Jays game against Cleveland.
Geoffrey threw a decent first pitch to Blue Jays mascot ace, who served as catcher behind home plate. Geoffrey's throw was from a short distance as he stood in front of the pitcher's mound instead of on it.
Although Toys "R" Us is planning a
comeback in the United States later this year after closing all its US stores in 2018, the toy retail chain still has
82 stores open in Canada. Maybe we will see Geoffrey at more MLB parks in the future.
