Tommy Kahnle gives up game-tying HR, flips out in Yankees dugout

Tommy Kahnle flips out in Yankees dugout vs Orioles 8/5/2019

New York Yankees reliever Tommy Kahnle lost his cool in the Yankees dugout after giving up a game-tying home run during Monday night's game in Baltimore.

Kahnle came into the game in the sixth inning with one out and one man on with the Yankees holding a 6-4 lead. After striking out the first batter he faced, Kahnle gave up a home run to Orioles batter Jonathan Villar to tie the game at 6-6. Kahnle was able to end the inning with a groundout, but the damage was done and he knew it. Kahnle proceeded to release his frustration in the dugout by smashing his glove on a plastic bucket, and the contents of the bucket went flying everywhere.
Kahnle was credited with a blown save, his third of the season, and did not come out for the seventh inning. Fortunately, the Yankees offense had Kahnle's back as they came through with three runs in the eighth, which was enough to beat the Orioles 9-6.
