Conor McGregor throws wild first pitch at Cubs game

Conor McGregor may have built a superstar career with his mixed martial arts skills, but he's not perfect. His baseball skills could use a little work. 

McGregor was invited to throw the ceremonial first pitch at Wrigley Field prior to Tuesday night's Chicago Cubs game against Minnesota. McGregor came out to the mound dressed in a suit and ready to put on a show for the crowd. Unfortunately, his pitching ability is not on the same level as his MMA expertise. To say McGregor threw a wild pitch would be an understatement. With nearly a dozen cameras filming from close range, his pitch was high and WAY wide of home plate, hitting the short wall of the backstop.

As bad as McGregor's pitch was, however, it certainly was not the worst first pitch we've ever seen. Some celebrities have thrown a lot worse. Carly Rae Jepsen comes to mind. And of course, there was 50 Cent.
