San Francisco Giants pitcher Carlos Rodon is feeling "stupid" after kicking a bat in the dugout that injured teammate Thiaro Estrada during Tuesday night's 7-3 loss in Arizona.
Rodon was already fuming, as he came to the dugout after giving up two runs in the second inning and slammed his glove on the bench. On the backswing, he managed to graze pitching coach Andrew Bailey on the side of the face. Bailey was fine, but the incident would foreshadow things to come.
Later in the game, with the Giants down 5-3, Rodon walked into the dugout and saw a couple of bats leaning against the bench. Rodon kicked one of them and it went flying into Estrada's knee.Rodón did not hide his anger after a rough 2nd inning 😡 pic.twitter.com/0NUc0qzroC

Rodon took the loss as the Giants were unable to rally from behind. This would seem to be a serious wake-up call to Rodon to get his anger under control. Let's wish him luck in doing that.
