Several fans were caught napping during the final minutes of Tuesday night's R+L Carriers New Orleans Bowl between Western Kentucky and South Alabama.
With 4:25 remaining in the fourth quarter, Western Kentucky held a comfortable 44-23 lead (that ended up being the final score). During a brief pause in the action, ESPN cameras panned out to the crowd to capture several fans sleeping, with others appearing to struggle to stay awake.
The game started just after 8PM CST, and as college football games typically run about 4 hours long these days, this game apparently ended well past the bedtime for some of these folks. As Western Kentucky held a 31-3 lead at halftime, you can't blame these fans for trying to catch up on sleep when they can.Cameraman caught several fans snoozin' 💤 😅 pic.twitter.com/s4y3IVjyrO

One thing that cannot be denied is that cameras catching people sleeping is comedy gold.
