AJ Brown, Jimmie Ward separated during pregame warmups (Video)

Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver A.J. Brown and San Francisco 49ers defensive back Jimmie Ward had to be separated during warmups prior to Sunday's NFC Championship game at Lincoln Financial Field.

As if the tension between the two teams heading into this game wasn't high enough already, Ward decided to brush past Brown while he was stretching, and Brown did not take kindly to it. Ward turned towards Brown and they briefly went nose-to-nose, but they were quickly separated by game officials, who happened to be in the right place at the right time.

We have seen postgame scuffles in the NFL from time to time, but pregame scuffles are usually pretty rare. Fortuantely, this incident did not amount to anything, and the game will start soon enough.

The Eagles and Niners are the top two seeds in the NFC, and the winner will be heading to the Super Bowl.
