Memphis Grizzlies superstar Ja Morant posterized San Antonio Spurs center Jakob Poeltl during Wednesday night's NBA game at the FedExForum.
It happened with under four minutes left in the fourth quarter as the Grizzlies held a 128-119 lead. As teammate Steven Adams cleared the way with a pick outside the three-point line, Morant dribbled down the lane and around Poeltl for the score. Poeltl made a desperate attempt to recover from behind for the block, but realized too late that he would have no chance to stop Morant's one-handed slam dunk that brought everyone in the arena to their feet.
Morant throws down slam dunks like these on a regular basis and is totally worth the price of admission for NBA fans. The things he can do on the court are just unbelievable.
Morant led the team in scoring with 38 points as the Grizzlies beat the Spurs 135-129. The Grizzlies are now tie with Denver at the top of the Western Conference standings, while the Spurs have lost six of their last 7 games.
