The ad was released online Monday and features Hart hosting a party for the big game. Guests include Hall of Famers "Big Papi" David Ortiz (MLB), Emmitt Smith (NFL), "Dr. J" Julius Erving (NBA), Lisa Leslie (WNBA), hip hop artist Ludacris, The Undertaker (WWE) and legendary skateboarder Tony Hawk.
Some of the stars don't have lines, which likely means DraftKings didn't want to pay them any extra. This year, a 30-second ad costs $7 million to air during Super Bowl LVII, and DraftKings stock is way down from its peak in 2021.
Aside from the athletes, a lot of music acts are appearing in Super Bowl ads this year. Not sure if this will lead to more customers for DraftKings, but time will tell.
