It happened with just under eight minutes remaining in the second quarter as the Lakers held a 40-32 lead. After Anthony Davis blocked a shot by Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, Lakers guard Dennis Schroeder grabbed the rebound and found James ahead of the pack with no one between him and the basket. Unfortunately, as James went up for the dunk, the ball began to slip out of his hand. James tried to use his other hand to help regain control of it, but ended up fumbling the ball out of bounds, losing the chance to score an easy bucket.

LeBron James is one of the best players in the game, but he isn't perfect. In fact, back in 2019 he appeared on Shaqtin' a Fool three times in the same episode.
However, this time LeBron made up for his mistake on the next defensive sequence with a steal on a bad pass from Nikola Jokic. He went on to make two free throws after being fouled by Jamal Murray.
At halftime, the Lakers led the Nuggets 53-48.
