Adam Hadwin tackled by security while celebrating Nick Taylor's PGA win (Video)

Canadian pro golfer Adam Hadwin was tackled by a security guard when he tried to give a celebratory champagne shower to Nick Taylor just moments after sinking an incredible putt to win the RBC Canadian Open on Sunday.

After 72 holes, Taylor and Tommy Fleetwood faced off in a four-hole playoff. On the final playoff hole, Taylor came through with a 72-foot eagle putt for the victory, becoming the first Canadian to win the Canadian Open since 1954. Here is how it looked on TV, with Jim Nantz on the call:

As Taylor was hugging his caddy, Hadwin ran onto the green with the champagne bottle, intending to douse Taylor with it. However, just as Hadwin began to spray it, a security guard tackled Hawdin and took him down to the ground. It was not captured on the live television broadcast, although Nantz described the scene off camera. Here is video from the gallery capturing the moment as it happened:

Hopefully the security guard doesn't get into trouble, as he was trying to do his job and mistook Hadwin for a member of the gallery. If anything, this video may help him get a promotion.

As far as Hadwin, we hope he is OK.
