It happened during the top of the ninth inning with the D-backs holding a 6-2 lead. The cat somehow found its way onto the field, then jumped into the front row where Emily Edwards was sitting. Edwards was likely not expecting to be stared down by a random animal and freaked out a bit, similar to the reaction of the Yankee fans that watched a squirrel run past them earlier this year.
Cat on the field, jumps into stands and scares Angels fan

Edwards was sitting with Kierra Fletcher, wife of Angels infielder David Fletcher, who happens to be the brother of Dominic. According to MLB.com, this was the first head-to-head meeting of the Fletcher brothers at the MLB level.
Edwards seemed to laugh at her predicament, but seemed genuinely relieved when the cat moved on. Of course, this begs the question of how the cat got into the stadium in the first place.
As far as the cat igniting a rally for the home team, similar to squirrels running onto MLB fields in the past, the Angels were unable to mount any offense in the bottom of the ninth and lost the game 6-2. Maybe the Angels can find this cat and get him a home.
