Boston Red Sox manager Alex Cora exploded on an umpire after being ejected between innings during Monday night's game in Colorado.
It happened prior to the start of the 12th inning with the game tied at 7-7. Cora apparently had some comments for home plate umpire Mark Wegner that he didn't like, so Wegner tossed him. Cora was not going to let it go without getting his money's worth. He flew out of the dugout and got right in Wegner's face, pointing and slamming his cap on the ground.
Here's another angle of the ejection and the aftermath:

Can’t blame him. I’m still thinking about the Winckowski missed call.pic.twitter.com/5plG6zA7vx
Broadcasters speculated that Cora's beef was linked to this missed strike three call in the bottom of the seventh that would have ended the inning:

Instead, Red Sox reliever Josh Winckowski gave up a double on the next pitch that scored a run for the Rockies. No wonder Cora let loose.
We have seen some unusual manager ejections in MLB recently, including a manager who was ejected while delivering the lineup card before the game.
Although the Red Sox managed to score a run in the top of the 12th, the Rockies rallied for two in the bottom of the inning to win the game 9-8. The Red Sox have now lost four straight games.
