Portland Trail Blazers rookie center Donovan Clingan posterized Philadelphia 76ers center Adam Bona with a powerful slam dunk during Monday night's NBA Summer League game in Las Vegas.
It happened about four minutes into the second quarter with the Sixers holding a 54-53 lead. After taking the ball outside the 3-point line, Clingan drove straight to the basket and threw down the slam that brought the crowd to their feet. Bona gave a valiant attempt to stop him, but had no chance.
This year's Summer League play allows the young NBA players to showcase their talent while giving fans highlight reel slam dunks.
Clingan finished with 8 points and 11 rebounds in 25 minutes as the Blazers beat the Sixers 97-95. Bona scored 8 points and had 4 rebounds in 21 minutes.
