San Francisco Giants manager Bob Melvin from Sunday's game in Colorado for arguing with the umpires...before the game started.
Melvin walked to home plate with bench coach Ryan Christenson to deliver the lineup card and apparently had something to get off his chest with the umpiring crew. We would have to guess it was some beef with the way the prior two games in the series with the Rockies were called. Melvin was apparently so worked up that he argued for several minutes before returning to the dugout (and heading to the locker room).

MLB managers are ejected for arguing with umpires all the time, but we don't recall seeing a manager ejected before the game started. We are extremely curious what it was all about.
