South Korean pro golfer Si Woo Kim hit a hole-in-one during Saturday's third round of the British Open, a.k.a. The Open Championship, at the Royal Troon Golf Course in Scotland.
It happened with Kim's tee shot on the 17th hole from 238 yards away. His shot bounced on the green and got a great roll until it dropped into the cup.

It took Kim a moment to realize what had happened, and then he enjoyed a celebratory moment with his caddy. Hole-in-ones in pro golf tournaments happen so rarely, but they are fun to see when they do happen.
The eagle on 17 allowed Kim to finish the round at even par, keeping him at 5-over for the tournament, which has him tied for 49th on the leaderboard. Kim is way out of contention for the tournament championship, but he should return home with a nice chunk of pocket change for making the cut.
