Cleveland Cavaliers guard Zhaire Smith threw down a posterizing dunk over Milwaukee Bucks guard MarJon Beauchamp during Sunday's NBA Summer League game in Las Vegas.
It happened about halfway through the second quarter with the Cavs holding a 49-23 lead. A Bucks turnover on the offensive end led to a Cavs fast break. Smith led the way and took the pass from the backcourt while Beauchamp was the only Bucks player back on defense. He did what he could, but Smith had a head of steam and reached back to throw it down over him.
The NBA Summer League is a great way for young players to put their name on the map, and basketball fans can still see their fair share of dunk highlights. Beauchamp, despite being dunked on, led the Bucks with 19 points and 11 rebounds in 28 minutes.
Smith finished the game with 9 points in 18 minutes as the Cavs beat the Bucks 112-81.
