Philadelphia Phillies center fielder Brandon Marsh caught a fly ball despite not seeing it until the very last second during Sunday's game against Seattle.
It happened in the bottom of the seventh with no one out and nobody on as the Phillies held a 1-0 lead. Mariners batter Jorge Polanco hit a fly ball to the warning track in deep center field. Marsh had his glove in position to catch the ball as he tried to follow it, but seemed to lose it in the son. However, Marsh appeared to see the ball at the very last second and put his glove in the way to protect himself, and the ball fell right into his glove for the out.
After the fortunate catch, Marsh appeared completely stunned. Based on our lip reading skills, it appears that Marsh told right fielder Nick Castellanos afterwards "I didn't see the f***in' ball."

We have seen some strange things happen in MLB this season, and this is certainly one of those plays you don't see every day. Marsh seems relieved he didn't get hurt on the play, regardless of whether he caught the ball or not. Sometimes it's better to be lucky than good.
The Phillies won the game 6-0 to end a six-game losing streak.
