A San Francisco Giants fan ran onto the field and had a brief conversation with left fielder Michael Conforto before being tracked down by Oracle Park security during Friday night's game against Detroit.
The fan ran to Conforto and appeared to have something urgent to say to him, as he seemed rather animated. As security approached, the fan ran back towards the outfield wall, thinking he would easily be able to pull himself back up into the stands. Unfortunately, he was unable to reach the top of the wall with his jump. The end result was the fan falling back down to the warning track and security easily catching up to him to (presumably) remove him from the stadium.

Even if the fan had been able to pull himself up over the outfield wall, security was waiting for him there as well, so he had no chance to get away.
We do not condone running onto the field at pro sporting events. It puts the athletes in potential danger and it could lead to the streaker getting tased in some cases. Fortunately, this fan had no ill intentions.
Not sure what the fan said, but as luck would have it, Conforto scored the winning run in the game on a sacrifice fly in the ninth inning as the Giants beat the Tigers 3-2 to keep their momentum going as they climb back into the National League Wild Card race.
UPDATE: We now have more context on this incident. It happened in the top of the ninth inning with one out and the game tied at 2-2. The incident was not shown on TV (as is typical of pro sports broadcasts), but the NBC Sports Bay Area broadcast team gave an entertaining play-by-play call:
While it wasn't shown, Duane Kuiper gave a detailed description of a security guard chasing a fan who ran onto the field.

"Now we got a security person that's in centerfield, that is running now for the first time in his or her life. Somebody get some oxygen for this person." pic.twitter.com/5K78UBLqT9
