Erling Haaland bounces ball off Gabriel Magalhaes head, Man City vs. Arsenal, 9/22/2024

Manchester City forward Erling Haaland bounced the ball off the back of the head of Arsenal defender Gabriel Magalhaes after Man City scored the tying goal during injury time of Sunday's Premier League match.

It happened in the 98th minute of the match after Man City defender John Stones scored from close range off a corner kick to tie the score at 2-2. As the ball was bouncing inside the net, Haaling picked it up and threw it at the back of the head of Magalhaes before running to join his teammates to celebrate. Magalhaes had his face in his hands in disbelief and would have never saw it coming either way.

This definitely could be considered taunting, but Haaling was able to get away with it. At least he didn't try to hurt his opponent physically.

With the draw, Man City remains on the top of the league standings after 5 matches, with Arsenal in fourth place but only two points behind.
