The Oregon Duck mascot had an embarrassing moment prior to Friday night's Big Ten Conference football game at Purdue.
As the mascot ran out onto the field with the Oregon players, it was accidentally bumped from behind by one of the players, causing it to fall to the ground and its mascot head to fall off, leaving the identity of the person inside the costume briefly exposed to the world.

The person inside the costume quickly grabbed the head, put it back on, got back up and started running again. That's all you can do in that situation. Fortunately, most of the camera angles of this incident are far enough away that the person's face was not clearly visible, so their identity remains a secret.
You have to take the ups with the downs. Just last week, it was going viral for spraying Pete Thamel with silly string.
Fortunately, this incident did not reflect Oregon's play on the field, as the second-ranked ducks crushed the Boilermakers 35-0 to remain undefeated. Regardless of what happens from this point on, this is shaping up to be a memorable season for Oregon.
