Detroit Pistons point guard Cade Cunningham posterized Boston Celtics point guard Derrick White with a one-handed slam during Wednesday night's NBA game at the TD Garden.
It happened with just under five minutes left in the first quarter with the Celtics holding a 26-10 lead. Celtics guard Jaylen Brown drove down the lane and had the ball stolen from him by Pistons guard Marcus Sasser. Cunningham picked up the ball and drove the length of the court, finishing with the monster dunk over White.
Brown is usually the one dropping the poster dunks, but this time he ended up with a turnover. However, that was a rare lowlight from Brown as he led the Celtics in scoring with 28 points in 38 minutes, along with 9 assists.
As for Cunningham, he had a decent night, leading Detroit with 27 points and 14 assists in 33 minutes, but unfortunately the defending NBA Champions were too strong as they beat the Pistons 130-120. The Pistons fall to 9-15 on the year while the Celtics improved to 18-4.
