Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver A.J. Brown was caught reading a book while sitting on the bench during Sunday's NFC Wild Card playoff win over Green Bay.
It happened during the fourth quarter as the Eagles led the Packers by two scores. With the Packers on offense trying to score some points, Brown was caught by television cameras picking up a book (that was clearly not the Eagles playbook) and reading it while sitting on the bench. The unusual sight got the attention of the FOX Sports broadcast team of Kevin Burghardt and Tom Brady.

We have seen some heated incidents on NFL sidelines before, but this was the complete opposite of that. After further investigation, it turns out the book that Brown was reading was "Inner Excellence" by Jim Murphy, and we have a feeling that he will be selling few more copies of his book after this free publicity.

Brown finished the game with only one catch for 10 yards, so it is possible the lack of targets made it difficult to remain engaged. Maybe the book is intended to help him see the big picture, given the Eagles are advancing to the next round of the playoffs. However, this is not a good look for Brown, as it is his job to stay focused and help the team win, regardless of the circumstances.
