Retired New York Giants quarterback legend Eli Manning autographed a football and tossed it into the crowd at Madison Square Garden while attending Friday night's New York Knicks game against Oklahoma City.
It happened during a timeout with 4:26 remaining in the first quarter with the game tied at 11. Manning was featured on the jumbotron high above the court as he was signing a football and received a huge ovation from the crowd. When he was done signing the football, he turned around to face the sections of seats behind him and tossed it about 20 rows back.

Last summer, Manning threw the ceremonial first pitch at a Yankees game to represent the New York Giants as they prepared to play their 100th season of football. Although the Giants season was pretty much a disaster, this could be a big year for Manning coming up, as he should be finding out in a few weeks if he will be inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame. It is Eli's first year of eligibility. We wish him the best of luck.
As far as the Knicks, they were not able to keep up with the NBA's best as they lost the game to the Thunder 126-101. The Knicks have now lost 4 of their last 5 games and face Milwaukee on Sunday.
