A Duke student won $19,000 by draining a half-court shot during Saturday's episode of ESPN College GameDay at Cameron Indoor Stadium in Durham, NC.
Duke junior biology major Raphael Lee from Cary, North Carolina was chosen as the lucky contestant for the State Farm Half-Court Shot contest. He was given 19 seconds to make the shot to win $19K. (According to GameDay host Rece Davis, the number 19 represents the more than 19,000 State Farm agents across North America.)
Lee's first shot was wide left and his second shot was wide right, but his third shot was nothing but net with 7 seconds to spare.

Lee was mobbed by GameDay analyst Jay Williams and a group of Duke students while the fans in attendance went crazy. Watching these fans winning money hitting half-court shots never gets old.
