Jimmy Butler made his Golden State Warriors debut Saturday night in Chicago, and he made sure his first bucket with his new team was highlight-worthy by throwing down an alley-oop.
It happened in the first minute of the game with the Warriors leading 3-2. Warriors guard Buddy Hield watched Butler lose his defender near the three-point line, giving him an open path to the basket. Hield threw the perfect pass towards the basket, and Butler caught it and finished with the slam.
Butler knows how to throw down an alley oop, and it is a good sign to see him in sync with his new teammates so quickly after forcing his way out of Miami.
Butler scored 25 points, second only to Stephen Curry's 34 points, as the Warriors beat the Bulls 132-111 to get back to .500 on the season. Warriors fans are hoping that their new big three combination of Curry, Butler and Draymond Green can help make a run to another championship.
