New York Rangers left winger Will Cuylle destroyed Vegas Golden Knights defenseman Alex Pietrangelo with a huge hit during Sunday's NHL game at Madison Square Garden.
It happened at the 13:07 mark in the third period with the Rangers holding a 3-2 lead. Just as Pietrangelo cleared the puck down the ice from inside the Golden Knights blue line, Cuylle skated over full speed and cleaned his clock. It was a clean hit as Cuylle delivered the hit with his shoulder square into Pietrangelo's chest, knocking him off his feet and flat on his back. This was a massive hit, and the home fans loved it.

Cuylle was immediately challenged to a fight by Pietrangelo's teammate Nicolas Hague, and the whistle blew as both players dropped their gloves. Both players were sent to the penalty box, with each receiving five minutes for fighting. As for Pietrangelo, he was able to get back up on his feet right away and stayed in the game.
Cuylle was credited with 5 hits in only 9 minutes of ice time as the Rangers beat the Golden Knights 4-2.
