Coen Carr throws down tremendous rim-rocker vs. Ole Miss (Video)

Coen Carr slam dunk, Michigan State vs. Ole Miss, 3/28/2025

Michigan State Spartans sophomore forward Coen Carr threw down a massive one-handed slam dunk that rocked the rim so hard it could be heard from the rafters during Friday night's Sweet Sixteen matchup against Ole Miss in the NCAA men's basketball tournament.

It happened with 4:23 remaining in the second half with Ole Miss holding a 58-57 lead. Ole Miss senior guard Sean Pedulla had just grabbed a defensive rebound, but his attempted pass was stuffed in the air by Spartans freshman guard Jeremy Fears Jr. and knocked right into the hands of Carr. Carr turned and had no one in between him and the basket, so he threw down the big slam dunk that brought Michigan State fans to their feet as they took a 59-58 lead.

There have been some big time slams during March Madness, but this was certainly one of the loudest. Carr finished the game with 15 points.

Pedulla came back with a 3-pointer to help Ole Miss take the back the lead, but Michigan State pulled away late to win the game 73-70.
