Minnesota Timberwolves power forward Julius Randle threw a pass into the third row of the stands during Wednesday night's NBA game against New Orleans.
It happened with 4:52 remaining in the second quarter with the Pelicans holding a 49-47 lead. Randle had the ball near the basket, but found himself double-teamed as he went up for the shot. He caught a glimpse of teammate Mike Conley in the corner and tried to pass it to him with his left hand.
Unfortunately, Randle's pass was a bit off, as it sailed over Conley's head and into the third row of the stands, where a young boy and his mother found themselves dodging the ball as it flew into the empty chairs behind them.

Fortunately, no one was hurt, and the boy and his mother shared a few laughs about it.
As it turns out, this may not even be the worst pass of Randle's career.
Randle finished the game with 17 points in 28 minutes of game action, but it wasn't enough as the Pelicans (led by Zion Williamson's 29 points) beat the T-Wolves 119-115 to end a 3-game losing streak.
