Actor and comedian Keenan-Michael Key threw the ceremonial first pitch at Friday's home opener for the Detroit Tigers, and it was a perfect strike.
Key is from Southfield, Michigan, a suburb of Detroit. He came to the mound at Comerica Park wearing a custom Tigers jersey with his last name and the number 53 on the back. With catcher Jake Rogers lined up behind the plate, Key tossed his pitch towards him. It was slow and started a bit high, but landed right in the middle of the strike zone. Rogers didn't even have to move his glove to catch it.

Kudos to Key for his impressive display of pitching, as we have seen some terrible first pitches thrown by celebrities over the years. It's not easy to do.
It turns out Key brought the Tigers some good luck as they beat the Chicago White Sox 7-4.
