Texas Rangers broadcasters referred to the A's as the "homeless Athletics" during Tuesday night's game at Sutter Health Park in Sacramento.
After playing their last season in Oakland, the A's are playing their first season in Sacramento as they prepare to relocate to Las Vegas. Their new stadium will not be ready until 2028 (at the earliest), so until then, they are stuck playing in a minor league ballpark, sharing their stadium with the Sacramento River Cats. Because their stay in Sacramento is temporary, they are refusing to call themselves the "Sacremento A's", but rather simply calling themselves the A's.
Given that context, the comments from Rangers broadcast referring to the Athletics as "homeless" are essentially accurate.

Dave & Mike are some goats…and they ain’t lying as the AAA’s made it clear they want nothing to do with being called the Sac A’s, or Vegas, or Oakland. pic.twitter.com/tzE3e9YYoW
It was very sad to see the A's leave Oakland given their storied history, and the owner's greed has led to this embarrassing situation, which is going to be dragged out over the next three years (at least).
As far as the game, the Rangers beat the Athletics 8-5.
