Red Sox fan catches Bo Bichette foul ball with his food, Blue Jays vs. Red Sox, 4/10/2025

Toronto Blue Jays shortstop Bo Bichette hit a foul ball that landed in a Boston Red Sox fan's food during Thursday's MLB game at Fenway Park.

It happened in the top of the fifth inning with two outs and a runner on first with the game still scoreless. On the 1-1 pitch, Bichette hit a foul bloop over the netting on the third base side of home plate. Television cameras captured the surprise reaction of the Red Sox fan, who showed the baseball perfectly wrapped up in the food he was eating, which appeared to be fried dough, although we are not 100% on that.

Not only was the fan lucky enough to grab the baseball, but he didn't lose any food in the process. Last year an unlucky Red Sox fan had their popcorn knocked over by a home run ball. We know that ball park food can be expensive.

In the end, Bichette struck out looking to end the inning. He finished 1-for-4 with a walk and two strikeouts. The Red Sox won the game 4-3 in 10 innings, so that Red Sox fan probably went home very happy.
